Gluing on Back of ‘Ukulele

  1. Place ‘ukulele on jig and clamp neck flat to jig.

  2. Apply glue to edge of body including braces and blocks.
  3. Centering back on body, sandwich and clamp ‘ukulele between work board and contoured back mold. Make sure top surface of neck and top surface of the sound board are in a straight line.
  4. Allow to dry overnight.
  5. Take off work board and contoured back mold. Put away clamps.
  6. Use router to cut off excess veneer from the back of the ‘ukulele.
